Minecraft Dungeons, It's Not a Diablo Clone

Minecraft Dungeons is being called a dungeon crawler based off of the most popular video game in the world, Minecraft. Taking a small team from Mojang combined with Double Eleven, they sought to create a game that was different yet familiar. But the question becomes does Minecraft Dungeons do enough and adapt the core ideas of the original IP to work in a new genre?
